Please find attached the letter from the Parish Council as a result of the meeting last night.
Please consider our request for the Council to serve a Building Preservation Notice on Ferrestone House, we believe that as the application has already gone to Historic England, there should be no reason why this could not be actioned to enable EBC to have time to obtain the result of the request for listed building status. We understand that “feelings” of our residents cannot be taken into consideration by yourselves but we had the highest attendance of the public a the meeting last night – people were genuinely distressed about potentially loosing this heritage example and we did clearly explain your stance and the rules around Permitted Development Rights they are hoping that the building preservation notice will give the house the opportunity to continue to be part of Draycott’s heritage
