An official opening of the Outdoor Classroom took place on Friday 8th September 2023.
We invited special guests Ali Bowley (who won the photo competition to have her picture on the background of the A1 noticeboard), and Gene Wilson of the Elephant Rooms in Draycott (he was instrumental in helping the Parish Council with the plans, funding and execution of the grant)
Lead Councillor for St Chads, Jenny Fletcher said with thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund (The Queens Platinum Jubilee 2023) we are able to now open this new facility for local groups, families and friends to get even more enjoyment from St Chads Local Nature Reserve.
All the costs for this area have been met by the National Lottery Queens Jubilee
