It was our great pleasure to welcome a team from Derbyshire County Council’s Countryside (Woodlands Team) to help plant 2 native trees – a Hornbeam and a Field Maple as part of the Million Trees Derbyshire Project.
We successfully applied for the 2 10ft plus trees from the scheme and have teamed up with the fantastic Draycott in Bloom volunteers who have agreed to water the trees for the next 3 years (on advice from the DCC team)
Its great when we all work together to benefit the environment!!
