All households can have bonfires provided they do not regularly and adversely
affect other households. Action which causes localised pollution with a potential
risk to health as a result of burning may be considered a nuisance.

There are some commercial businesses within Draycott which have exemption
from certain regulations enforced by the Environment Agency which limit the
means of disposing of larger volumes of waste as a business by using a D7

If you become aware of emissions from any business which you believe are the
result of burning anything other than plant-based materials (i.e. rubbers, plastics,
oils etc. which often produce thick black and acrid smoke) or you believe the
conditions of the exemption are not being adhered to such as importing of waste
for burning you should contact the Environment Agency directly using their 24 hour
incident hotline at 0800 807060 and also advise EBC of the action you have taken
using their link above.
