Public session – Councillor Gelsthorpe raised concerns on behalf of a resident about anti-social behaviour at the Leisure Green. He was informed that PCSO Pykett was aware and also it was hoped that cctv cameras would be installed at the Leisure Green shortly.
Derbyshire Constabulary – PCSO Pykett had provided a written report detailing 4 crimes Derbyshire County Council – Councillor Parkinson had provided a written report which had been circulated.
Erewash Borough Council – Councillor Clare reported on EBC matters.
Councillor Wilson reported on the Neighbourhood Watch meeting (also attended by Cllr Clare and Clerk)
Councillor Selwood reported on the Borough/Parish Forum (also attended by Cllrs Clare and Orchard)
19/17.Minutes – RESOLVED to confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the meetings held on the 10 January 2017, 3 February 2017 and 14 February 2017.

22/17. Report of the Parish Clerk –
a) DCC – permission for a permanent structure licence for the planter in the Market Place – RESOLVED to note that permission has been granted and that the Draycott Village Fund (D in B) have agreed to the comply with the conditions required by the Parish Council.
b) Draycott Village Fund (D in B) Hanging Basket sponsorship – RESOLVED to continue sponsorship of a hanging basket in the village for 3 years.
c) St Chad’s Fishing Club – request for St Chad’s Water Local Nature Reserve – RESOLVED to approve the requests to i) move the floating island ii) re-stock the Water with carp.
d) Remembrance Sunday Service 2017 – RESOLVED to approve the RECOMMENDATIONS from the Cemetery Committee meeting held on Friday 3 February 2017. The staffing for the event was also RESOLVED.
e) Draycott Village Fund – request to use the playing fields and Millennium Green for a ‘picnic in the park’ on the 11 June 2017 – RESOLVED to approve the request.
f) DALC – subscription – 2017/18 – RESOLVED to continue membership of DALC at the lower level.
g)Highways England – Consultation on M1 J 23a-25 Smart Variable Mandatory Speed Limit – RESOLVED no response.
h) Dog Bags – RESOLVED to continue supplying dog bags free of charge in the Parish and that, after March 4 2017, bags be available from Draycott Off Licence, Sue‘s News and the Parish Rooms.
