133/16. Apologies- RESOLVED to approve the apologies for absence submitted on behalf of Councillors Mc Candless and Dundas
134/16 –Co-option of Parish Councillor – RESOLVED that Darren Gelsthorpe be co-opted as a Member of Draycott and Church Wilne Parish Council. Councillor Gelsthorpe signed the Acceptance of Office.

Derbyshire Constabulary – PCSO Pykett had provided a written report detailing 7 crimes since the last meeting. It was noted that all of the crimes were vehicle related and the Constabulary now has a team who are focussing on this criminal activity in Derbyshire.
Derbyshire County Council – report from Councillor Parkinson had been circulated.
Erewash Borough Council – Cllr Clare reported on EBC activities.
Councillor Rogerson reported on his attendance at a Scout Executive meeting.
Councillor Wilson reported on his attendance at an Angling Trust meeting along with members of the St Chad’s Fishing club.
139/16.Minutes – RESOLVED to confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the meetings held on the 8 November 2016 and 13 December 2016.

141/16 Chairman’s Announcements. –The Chairman welcomed Councillor Gelsthorpe onto the Parish Council.
She thanked Councillors involved in the Christmas lights switch-on.
She reported that she had attended the Senior Citizens Christmas party on behalf of the Parish Council.

142/16. Report of the Parish Clerk –
a)Remembrance Sunday Service 2017 – RESOLVED i) to apply for a temporary road closure order and to obtain quotations from marshalling and hire companies ii) to include a sum of £500 in the 2017/18 budget to cover costs iii) to include details of wreaths presenters/area plan iv) that the Cemetery Committee co-ordinate the arrangements for the 2017 service. v) not to investigate relocating the War Memorial
b) Leisure Green – RESOLVED to put the compensation payment from S T Water in the Council’s reserves to be used towards future open spaces projects.
c) Society of Local Council Clerks – RESOLVED to continue the subscription (£157)
d) Neighbourhood Watch Scheme – RESOLVED to note that an open meeting to discuss the creation of a Neighbourhood Watch scheme in the village is to be held on Friday 3 February 2017 at 6.30pm in the Parish Rooms.
e) EBC- Brass Band Concert 2017 – RESOLVED to host a brass band concert on Sunday 9 July at 2.30pm at the Leisure Green.
f) St Chad’s Water LNR – RESOLVED to note the report on the damage caused by flooding and the anti-social behaviour at St Chad’s Water LNR.
