041/16. Apologies- RESOLVED to approve the apologies for absence submitted on behalf of Councillors J Price, A McCandless
042/16. Variation of Order of Business – none
043/16. Declaration of Members Interests – none.

045/16. Public Speaking – Derbyshire Constabulary Police Panel – agreed that the profile be to respond to the anti-social behaviour at the Leisure Green. The current problems were discussed and L Robinson explained some of the issues the Scouts were encountering. (see Minute 049/16/a).
Erewash Borough Council – Cllr Clare reported on Borough matters.
Councillor Rogerson reported on his attendance at the Scout Executive.
Councillor Fletcher reported on her and Cllrs McCandless’ attendance at a DALC training course.
Councillor Wilson reported on his attendance at the St Chad’s Fishing Club AGM.
046/16.Minutes – RESOLVED to confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the meetings held on the 8 March and 12 April 2016.
047/16 To determine which items if any from Part 1 of the Agenda should be taken with the public excluded. – No items were deemed confidential.
048/16 Chairman’s Announcements. – the Chairman reported that the EBC Neighbourhood Wardens had responded to 2 issues she had raised in the village.
049/16. Report of the Parish Clerk –
a) Leisure Green – anti-social behaviour – RESOLVED that a meeting be held with PCSO Pykett and the groups based at the Leisure Green and a report be presented to the next meeting.
b) Litter in the village RESOLVED i) that the Chairman would contact the school ii) that a note be put on the web-site and in the next newsletter.
c) Football Teams – 2016/17 – RESOLVED to note the arrangements for next season.
d) DALC Circular 05/2016 – 1. DALC update on public contracts regulations 2015 –RESOLVED that the Council’s Standing Orders and Financial Regulations will be amended in line with the new regulations at the next review date in October 2016.
e) EBC- Museum In the Park – 10/8/16 – RESOLVED to approve the request from EBC to use the Playing Fields/Millennium Green for the event.
f) ICCM – subscription – £90 – RESOLVED to continue membership of the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management.
